About
If you're on a quest for an authentic ramen experience in São Paulo, look no further than Lamen The Bowl. Nestled in the heart of Instituto de Previdência, this cozy eatery invites you to indulge in bowls of goodness that are as satisfying as they are customizable. Located at R. Antônio Mariani, 311, it’s the ideal spot for comfort food that warms both the body and soul.
Lamen The Bowl prides itself on high-quality ingredients and freshly prepared dishes. As a food reviewer for Menu Buzz, I was thrilled to hear glowing reviews from customers such as Jenny Chang, who praised the soup bases for both the miso and shoyu varieties. She highlighted their delicate balance—deliciously flavorful without being overpoweringly salty or greasy. This is a fundamental aspect of great ramen; the broth serves as the heart and soul, and at Lamen The Bowl, they've certainly nailed it.
What truly sets Lamen The Bowl apart, however, is its dedication to customization. Diners have the delightful option to enhance their noodles with a variety of toppings such as shiitake mushrooms, bean sprouts, spinach, or even extra egg or meat. This aspect not only allows patrons to tailor their meals to their own tastes, but it also encourages a fun and personal dining experience. Whether you prefer a veggie-heavy bowl or something heartier, Lamen has you covered.
The atmosphere of the restaurant adds another layer to the experience. With cozy seating for about six inside and ample courtyard seating for those who prefer the outdoors, the space is welcoming. During peak hours—like a vibrant Friday night—it's not unusual to see diners returning for seconds (or thirds!) as they savor every sip of their ramen.
In summary, Lamen The Bowl is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary journey that invites you to explore the rich flavors of traditional ramen while making it your own. With excellent execution of both flavor and freshness and an inviting ambiance, this is definitely a spot I recommend checking out on your next culinary adventure in São Paulo.
“ The soup base for both the miso and the shoyu were excellent. Tasty, not too salty and no oily or msg after taste. The portion is just right for me and the ingredients generous. You can customize your bowl with additional options like shiitake mushrooms, or bean sprouts, or spinach or extra egg or meat. We went on a Friday night and it was busy. Inside sits about 6 people and it was full all the time we were there. There are plenty of sitting space outside in the courtyard. The guys next to me was on his third bowl! Thank you for a lovely experience. ”
